Privacy Policy
Last Updated: October 1, 2026
1. Our Core Privacy Commitment
At CleanPDFPages, we believe privacy is a fundamental human right. Our application is architected from the ground up on a strict zero-server-upload principle: all PDF processing, rendering, blank page detection, duplicate analysis, and file cleanup occur 100% locally inside your web browser.
Your PDF documents, page images, metadata, and extracted text never leave your computer or mobile device. No document payload is ever transmitted to our servers or any third-party cloud infrastructure.
2. Information We Do NOT Collect
Because processing occurs purely client-side:
- We do not collect, inspect, or store your PDF files.
- We do not log document titles, filenames, page counts, or file sizes.
- We do not extract or store text content, form data, or personal details contained in your PDFs.
- We do not use your documents to train machine learning or AI models.
3. Local In-Memory Storage & Data Retention
When you load PDF files into CleanPDFPages, the data resides only in temporary volatile browser memory (RAM) for the duration of your session. Once you close or refresh your browser tab, all rendered page canvases, object URLs, and document data are immediately cleared by your operating system.
Theme preferences (such as Light, Dark, or System mode) are stored locally in your browser's localStorage purely to remember your UI preference between visits.
4. Cookies and Web Analytics
CleanPDFPages does not use invasive tracking cookies or cross-site advertising trackers. We may collect minimal, aggregated, and anonymized technical metrics (such as page views, browser type, and general geographic region) solely to monitor website uptime, performance, and reliability.
5. Third-Party Libraries & CDNs
CleanPDFPages uses reputable open-source WebAssembly and JavaScript libraries (such as Mozilla PDF.js, pdf-lib, and JSZip) delivered via secure, high-availability Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) to execute locally on your machine. These CDNs deliver static script files and do not access your local document data.
6. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may occasionally update this Privacy Policy to reflect technical improvements or legal requirements. Any modifications will be posted directly on this page with an updated revision date.
